Need to consider a form of mobile education that you can take anywhere with your family?

Want a more Christian foundation and structure to your child’s learning?

Thinking about pursuing homeschooling, but need some extra help?

Looking for a system where your child can learn at their own pace, a system that is individualised and tailor-made to your child’s learning?

Want your child to gain life-long habits of goal-setting, proactivity and responsibility within their learning?

If you answered YES to any of these statements, then homeschooling using the A.C.E. curriculum could be an option for you and your family.

Group Tutorial Sessions

We regret that we are no longer taking on new applicants.         Please contact us for more details...

Pioneer Academy offers group tutorial sessions, support and advice to homeschool families wanting to educate or currently educating their child(ren) using the Accelerated Christian Education curriculum.

Group Tutorial Sessions are currently held from 8:50am-1:00pm, Tuesday to Thursday during state school term times. The sessions operate on an approximate 1 tutor to 6 children ratio. The children are able to follow the necessary A.C.E. procedures during these sessions, including scoring their work and sitting tests, including ICCE tests.

The children are given a significant amount of one-on-one tutoring time, support and facilitation during the four-hour sessions. They are also able to learn alongside their peers, which is so vital for the development of young children.

In addition to these tutorial sessions, Pioneer Academy fulfils all the administrative tasks of ordering new workbooks (called "PACEs"), marking tests, and completing student progress charts, whilst also being able to offer support, advice and training to homeschool parents.

We currently serve approximately 6 families, with 10 children partaking in the Group Tutorial Sessions, aged between 6 and 16. We also help support other families who have chosen to homeschool their children at home.
